Check furnace fit and options
Serious summer cooling for larger RVs
InstaCool Pro 18K is built for medium-to-large RVs that need stronger recovery in severe heat and already rely on a furnace for winter. Four fan speeds and 271–374 CFM indoor airflow let you cool hard first, then reduce airflow after the cabin settles.

More output without unused rooftop heat
This model is designed for owners who want the strongest cooling-only option in the range and prefer to keep heating with a propane furnace.

Recover larger cabins after sun exposure
Higher capacity matters most during the first part of the cooldown, when the roof, walls and furniture are all releasing stored heat.

Cool hard, then reduce airflow
Indoor airflow from 271 to 374 CFM gives the system more flexibility than a single fixed-speed fan.

Keep winter heating with the furnace
Choose focused 18K cooling when the RV furnace already handles cold-weather heat.

Control cooling from four interfaces
Use the app, voice control, handheld remote or the ceiling assembly to adjust cooling without relying on one interface.
18K cooling for hot routes and larger RV cabins
The product is a strong fit for hot routes, larger cabins and owners who already trust the existing furnace for cold weather.
The 18K platform is built to recover larger interiors and higher heat loads.
Keep the rooftop system focused on high-output cooling while the RV furnace handles winter heat.
The Pro Max adds a 16K heat pump while keeping 18K cooling.
Match the ADB to the ceiling
Choose the ducted or non-ducted ceiling configuration that matches the RV and its 115V circuit.

Built for common RV rooftop replacements.
A standard 14.25-inch opening, 115V supply and a choice of ducted or non-ducted ceiling kits simplify replacement planning.

If you're looking for a
"If you're looking for a straight cooling unit that handles brutal summer heat without breaking a sweat, the Fogatti Cool-Only series is an absolute home run. What stood out: Easy, Drop-In Installation: It fits right into the standard 14" x 14" roof opening. Wiring and mounting were straightforward, and the included ceiling assembly/seal layout made for a quick, leak-free retrofit. Rapid Heat Pull-Down: Once powered up, this unit drops the internal cabin temperature fast. The airflow (CFM) is strong and moves serious volume, making quick work of hot, heat-soaked rigs sitting out in full sun. Quiet Operation: Compared to legacy rooftop roarers, this unit runs surprisingly quiet. The compressor dampening and fan design keep the noise level low inside the coach so you can actually hear your TV or sleep through the night. Solid Construction: The UV-resistant outer shroud and internal housing feel durable and well-built to handle highway winds and branch scrapes. If you already rely on your propane furnace for cold weather and just need reliable, heavy-duty air conditioning during the summer, this cool-only unit gives you the best bang for your buck. Highly recommended!"
Easy install. Directions are
"Easy install. Directions are adequate. Took about 3 hours each unit. Did front and back AC s to the Fogatti Instacool pro 18,500 btu units ducted. Removed old Dometic Penguin units that were a little lower profile but longer than Fogatti. Center new unit over preexisting AC roof access then bolt in from inside. Another 10 inches or even 5 of 120v wiring from ac unit to control box would be nice. But not a game changer. I like the turbo feature and the air dump gates to cool an area quickly. I like the Furnace capability pre wired by fogatti. Gets rid of old dometic 4 button thermostat. Works off 12v so if boondocking the furnace will still work with no 120v power. Great little units with ease of install. I think the blower is a little weak for a ducted unit, but it is as good as my old Dometics in vent output. These units are far FAR quieter than my old Dometics as well. Very quiet. WIFI is not something I want but is a feature on these units. Might try it one day. Downsides: No remote control holder comes with the unit. I mean WHY?!?! Both units can be inadvertently controlled by 1 remote control due to transmission type. But if I lose one of the remote cintrols (because there is no wall mount holder) at least I will have a spare. Price was amazing. Shipping was fast & accurate. Customer support was very responsive. Overall 5 stars. Lets check back next year on reliability & endurance."
Very pleased with the
"Very pleased with the product. We had an installation issue that support was able to identify and help us correct nearly immediately. Excellent customer support! The device itself is light-years ahead of the 20+ year old unit that it replaced. Remarkably quiet. Normal conversation levels with the AC on full blast. HIGHLY recommend this product and company, will definitely buy their products again as needs arise. Really impressive product and organization."
I can only comment
"I can only comment on the installation, I am a license aircraft mechanic so the install was pretty easy. I am a little disappointed in the unit itself that it only blows air into a ducted system one way and that is out the back. Had I known that I would have looked a little more before purchasing but I was able to make it work because my RV has two AC units and I only replaced one, otherwise I would have returned it. The wiring was simple but I didn't like that it could not connect to my wall mounted thermostat that also connect to my furnace. The AC unit is very quiet and blows very cold air. The plastic cover is fairly thin and am a little worried and skeptical it won't last as long as the 23 year old Colman Mach3 I replaced."
Just got back from
"Just got back from a 4 night stay at the beach and this AC unit ran flawlessly. Kept my 35 ft rv cool and quiet inside. The Wi-Fi is nice to keep an eye on temps while you re away. I would like to have another one to replace my front unit."
Great unit. . . Quietness is impressive.
"Great unit. . . Quietness is impressive. The only issue is had on installation was my old unit was 115 volt, the new unit requires both 115v and 12v. . . luckily I had a 12v ceiling light close enough to tap into the 12v but once I turned it on it was well worth the extra effort."
We just installed our
"We just installed our Fogatti instacool pro 18k; and all I gotta say is WOW. This a/c is SUPER quiet. During our install (which only took an hour) our coach got up to 87 ; from the moment we turned it on; we could feel an instant cool down. Within a very short amount of time it went from 87 to 71 . Super impressed with the cooling power. The only modification we had to do was use some longer screws to hold the inside interior trim (our ceiling is carpeted and the short mounting screws were just to small) piece together. Overall very impressive cooling power and we absolutely love how well the install went. My wife loves the fact that you dont need a wall mounted thermostat to control the unit and she can even controll it from her phone. I also was impressed how much thought Fogatti did with the adjustable air divider. That was a good thought on there part. Overall; we give it 5stars and worth the investment."
Highly recommend not installing
"Highly recommend not installing the plastic center vent piece, just leave it open. These put out much more air without that piece blocking downward flow, which helps tremendously, considering forward flow is about 1/3 the volume of rearward flow. Otherwise these work very well so far. Much less condensation than the popular brands, less power draw, and more control, plus heat and remote with timer. Has a longer footprint on the roof, but is lower. Not exactly low profile, but more clearance than your typical roof AC??s."
The FOGATTI RV AC
"The FOGATTI RV AC cover features sturdy construction and excellent craftsmanship, matching the original unit precisely. The included mounting brackets ensure secure and straightforward installation. It effectively shields the AC from outdoor elements. A practical and well-made accessory for reliable protection."
So far so good.
"So far so good. I replaced my single unit. It s needs a second unit on my rv. It s not cooling rv down in this Alabama heat. Outside temp is 97 degrees feels like 108 degrees. Inside temp is 85."
