Quick answers
Who should choose 9 Pro?
It is best suited to larger rigs, full-time use and households that want more flow plus a mixing tank for
steadier temperature behavior.
Does the mixing tank store a full shower?
The built-in mixing tank acts as a small buffer for smoother delivery while the heater produces hot water
on demand.
Which door size should I select?
Choose the variant that covers the existing exterior opening and matches the required cutout and trim.
For larger fifth wheels and Class A/C motorhomes, choose climate products sized for bigger cabins and central duct systems.
Variable 17K–35K output and 260 CFM airflow fit larger central-duct systems. Confirm cabinet size, duct capacity, exhaust, propane and 12V power.

Steadier hot water for larger RVs
InstaShower 9 Pro combines 66,000 BTU output, up to 3.6 GPM flow and a built-in mixing tank. It is designed for larger fifth wheels, Class A and Class C motorhomes, full-time RV living and households with heavier back-to-back demand.
More flow for frequent hot-water use
9 Pro combines higher output, seasonal combustion control and a small mixing tank for steadier delivery under demanding RV use.
Smooth temperature changes with a small buffer
The mixing tank works with the burner and controls as a buffer for smoother on-demand delivery.
Add flow margin for larger households
The 66K platform is the strongest of these three models, with delivered flow shaped by incoming-water temperature and pressure.
Adjust output as incoming water changes
Using fewer flame rows in warm conditions and more in cold conditions helps avoid excessive heat while preserving winter output.
Support exposed and high-altitude campsites
The system is designed for operation up to 9,800 ft and stronger wind resistance when installation and utilities are correct.
Choose it for real household demand
The strongest fit is a larger rig or a household whose shower and sink demand regularly pushes a lower-output heater.
More cabin space often means more occupants and more frequent hot-water use.
The mixing tank and higher flow matter more when the heater is used every day.
More burner output provides additional recovery margin when source water is colder.
Opening and exterior-door compatibility
Choose 15×15, 15×18 or 18×18 from the existing opening; the guide covers LP propane, 12V, water and venting.
Opening, door coverage and utility routing
The heater is designed around a 13 × 13-inch minimum opening with several exterior door options.
- Minimum opening
- 13 × 13 in
- Door options
- 15×15 / 15×18 / 18×18 in
- Water pressure
- 14.5–150 PSI

Why InstaShower 9 Pro fits higher hot-water demand
These answers cover the mixing tank, simultaneous use, fit and utility requirements.
Does the mixing tank store a full shower?
The built-in mixing tank acts as a small buffer for smoother on-demand delivery; the burner produces hot water continuously as it is used.
Can I run the shower and sink together?
The 3.6 GPM platform supports higher demand; delivered flow varies with inlet temperature, pressure and fixture flow.
Will it replace a 6- or 10-gallon tank heater?
It is designed around a common 13 × 13-inch opening. Select the door and trim that properly cover the previous exterior opening.
Does it require shore power?
Controls and ignition use 12V DC while the burner uses LP propane, so no 120V shore-power supply is required.
Who should choose 8 Plus instead?
Choose 8 Plus for moderate demand when its 2.9 GPM platform is the better value for the RV and household.
Ready for higher-demand RV hot water?
Choose the matching door size above. The installation guide is available for final fit planning.

Bought this tankless hot

Great product! Great sevice! I
"Great product! Great sevice! I have always been happy with both when it comes to this company. Thank you."
NICE, LONG, HOT SHOWERS
"NICE, LONG, HOT SHOWERS IN MY RV - YAAAAAAAAAAS!!!!! This unit definitely does what it's designed to. I've had no issues with it heating the water up, even in the middle of winter. The install was fairly simple, except the wiring. If you haven't messed with RV wiring, there is no "standard" color code and many times the circuits in a single trailer dont follow the same pattern as others. For example, I have circuits where black is ground and others where white is ground. I used an ohm meter to determine this particular circuit. Also, don't forget, RVs are similar to 12v car systems in that they use a negative ground."
It was easy to
"It was easy to install, very little experience required. So far the unit works great, I have only used it for sink hot water and not showering yet. The only issue I have is that I received my order and I installed it right away, well a few days later I received a larger face plate for the size of my opening."
After several days of
"After several days of deep research on the web, I decided to go with Fogatti because it appeared that Fogatti manufactures a good majority of them and just rebranded with a different name. And I'm glad I did, because when I was completing the install, I was having a difficulty with the access door. Turns out the Pro 9 takes a different door when using the 18"x18" door option. Customer service helped and I received the due within 24 hours. The install was easy. It looks amazing and best of all, it works better than expected. If Fogatti read this, my only suggestion is they include a tool of Butyl tape with the kit and most IMPORTANTLY, the wire lead from the controller to the unit definitely needs to be longer. The 6 ft included is no where near long enough to route through a limited number of access holes in an RV and install in a convenient location in the RV. 15ft should be the minimum IMO. Otherwise a awesome upgrade. Would recommend it."

Excellent prodict, ordered direct
"Excellent prodict, ordered direct from Fogati, did my research prior. Easy to install, not a pro, took me about 4 hours total with the trickiest part being hooking up to the correct 12v wires. I suggest a Get Started guide for after its hooked up, then how do you start it instructions. I called Fogati and they talked me through the initial start up. Also, just so people know, its only propane, you can mix hit n cold at the knob without issues, and it takes about 25-28 seconds before you feel hot water. The wires for the controller could be twice as long. I never rjn out of hot water! All in all I give it 5 stars."
