Quick answers
Can I use it with an existing duct system?
Yes, when the ducted ceiling assembly is selected and the RV duct layout meets the installation requirements.
Does the heat pump replace a propane furnace?
The heat pump adds warmth in milder cold; use a properly sized furnace for freezing-weather travel.
Can it run from an inverter?
Only when the complete inverter, battery, wiring and charging system can support compressor startup and continuous load.
Build around a larger RV with hot water and cold-weather systems matched to its doors, ducts, power and utilities.
Add stable on-demand hot water with a built-in mixing tank and matching RV door package.

High-output comfort across more seasons
InstaCool Pro Max combines 18,000 BTU cooling, 16,000 BTU heat-pump heating and ducted or non-ducted compatibility. It is the step-up choice for owners who want high summer output without giving up useful rooftop heat in cooler weather.

Cool hard and keep traveling into fall
Pro Max adds stronger heat-pump output and flexible ceiling compatibility without stepping away from the 18K cooling platform.

Recover larger cabins after summer heat
The system is intended for medium-to-large RVs and remains useful in demanding outdoor temperatures up to 115°F.

Use heat-pump warmth on cool days
The heat pump is useful down to approximately 28°F, while freezing conditions may still require a properly sized furnace.

Balance recovery with four fan speeds
Dual variable-speed motors adjust airflow instead of forcing the system to run at one fixed pace.

Choose ducted or non-ducted airflow
The same rooftop output can be matched to the ceiling layout already used in the RV.
Choose Pro Max for changing-weather travel
Pro Max earns its place when both high cooling and meaningful rooftop heating will actually be used.
The 18K cooling platform provides more recovery capacity than Ultra.
The 16K heat pump adds much more rooftop heating than a small PTC heater.
Ultra has lower output but a below-43-dB low mode and a smaller all-season positioning.
Match the ceiling kit and roof space
Pro Max supports ducted or non-ducted installations with the matching ceiling kit.

Flexible fit for ducted or non-ducted RVs.
The 14.25-inch opening, 115V supply and selectable ceiling kit support straightforward rooftop replacement planning.

Quick answers about Pro Max cooling, heat and fit
See how heat-pump comfort, ceiling flexibility and roof fit work together.
When is the 16K heat pump most useful?
It provides efficient rooftop warmth for cool mornings and shoulder-season travel down to approximately 28°F. Use the RV furnace for freezing conditions.
Can it work with a ducted ceiling?
Yes. Select the ducted configuration for an existing ceiling-duct system, or the non-ducted configuration for direct ceiling airflow.
How is it different from Pro 18K?
Both provide 18K cooling. Pro Max adds 16K heat-pump heating for wider seasonal use.
How is it different from Ultra?
Pro Max adds 18K output and ducted compatibility; Ultra prioritizes quieter non-ducted operation.
What installation does it support?
It uses a 14.25 × 14.25-inch roof opening, 115V power and either a ducted or non-ducted ceiling configuration.
Ready for high-output all-season comfort?

I installed this unit
"I installed this unit a couple of days ago. It replaced an old Carrier ac/heatpump. The difference is astounding! First, the installation was very straightforward. Between the paper manual and the installation video, I had good directions. The unit is unbelievably quiet. We are in a wonderfully moderate season in NE MN so it is hard to test the effectiveness, but I can say the airflow is good and the heatpump blows hot and the AC blows cold. I look forward to putting it through its paces in the coming months."
Puts out nice cold air.
"Puts out nice cold air. I am amazed how quiet it is. I may have to start sleeping in the camper’s living room until I can afford to get one to replace the bedroom unit. It is well built, works great. I love it!"
