"It s a solid unit. Uses a fair bit of propane if you like HOT which we do. So the included adapter for regular 16# tanks was perfect. We had a DO NOT USE water crisis in our area that lasted a couple weeks, we se this up in our master bath and placed the heating unit in the toilet closet with exhaust fan and it worked perfectly. Had a plug-in CO meter never tripped. You can take a decent time shower and only use roughly 5-8 gallons. Worth every penny. Forget those baby electric only, they only work a tiny bit with already pre heated water."

"This is my second review on this hot water heater; which is actually on the unit itself. My first review was on the customer support team; and they are superb. The Fogatti itself appears to be well made; with no rough edges or appearance of cheapness . It will be a while before I go camping; so I had to improvise a way to test this unit. I set this up in my bathroom and placed the Fogatti on top of a folding table with a seven-gallon water container below. I took a four-gallon shower. The unit works very well; but you need to read the instructions closely. The shower handle has two distinct control knobs on it and you need to set them correctly for the amount of water that you plan to use. The shower handle definitely does control the amount of water that flows through this system. While doing my preliminary tests; I emptied the seven-gallon water container in less than a minute. The pump system definitely works; and it will give you a volume of water as determined by the two knobs on the shower handle. The red control on the front of the pump unit is not exactly a thermostat. Rather it is a temperature difference control. The temperature of the source water will determine how much the unit heats the incoming water. I set this control knob to the absolute left limit (meaning least heating effect) and the and the shower water was definitely warm enough for a comfortable shower. The two hoses at the front of the unit connect relatively easily; but you need to check them to make sure they are actually snuggly connected. I did not have any leaks while using it. You definitely want to get the carrying storage bag for this unit. All of the attachments; fit in this bag. The bag appears to be well made and definitely durable."

"This unit worked great for us at our off-grid cabin and we used it in our previously bought shower tent. I charged it for four hours before we used it and we took 2 showers with it and it still has lots of battery life left. It seems pretty fuel efficient also. It was so nice to have a hot shower after a full day. I bought this unit after returning 2 Camplux Nano3 Pro units because they wouldn't charge. Great product!"

"Took this camping for six days over the Fourth of July. Very Quick and easy to set up. we also bought a shower tent and a couple 7 gallon water containers from Walmart . Starts to heat immediately just need to keep the temperature on in low setting. Me, my wife and my three kids used it twice over the six days and also my brother and Three of his kids. Well, worth the money!"

"This quite possibly is the most awesome piece of camping gear I've ever purchased. Simple, compact, easy to set up and use. The pump is small enough that it fits through the fill hole in 55 gal plastic drums. With the shower head running full blast on its highest flow, it would take 60 f water and raise it to over 110 f. Now when it gets cold you'll probably have to back off on the flow rate to get the temps that hot but so far I can't say enough good things about it. The only negative I can think of is the dial for the heat really just regulates the gas flow and not the actual temperature so if you choke the water flow down without adjusting the gas flow, the temp will spike and trip the safety cutoff, which seems to be about 122 f and then requires a restart. I wish the control panel actually controlled the temp and adjusted the gas flow automatically but that seems to be par for the course with these small portable shower heaters."

"For years I have used the solar showers while car camping. They work OK but there never seemed to be enough water nor was it hot enough for a proper shower. At best, it worked well enough to get some of the grime off at the end of a long day of hiking or riding the ATVs but they weren t any good for much more than that. This shower is a game changer!!! It uses readily available 1 lb propane canisters for the heat source and has a rechargeable battery to run the pump. The water heats up quickly and makes it possible to take a real shower. The unit, while not light, is still easy to move around. The temperature control works extremely well and we can now take a longer shower with hot water rather than the lukewarm water we were used to with the solar shower. It also works great in the backyard for bathing the dogs after a swim in the irrigation canals. They seem to be much more cooperative getting a bath with warm water than they were with cold water out of the hose. My only regret is that I didn t get one of these years ago and had to endure so many mediocre showers while in camp."
